In addition to providing grassroots and national organizations with the professional skills social change organizations need to achieve their goals, SHATIL initiates proactive projects, preparing and inspiring leaders from some of Israel's most marginalized communities, including Israeli Arabs, Bedouin, immigrants from Ethiopian and the Former Soviet Union, single parents and ultra-Orthodox women- to name just a few. SHATIL conducts projects that help them realize their rights and play an active role in determining the policies that affect their lives.
