The New Israel Fund, Shatil and the Heinrich Böll Foundation invite you to a special panel discussion during the 52nd Session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women. “On the way to Gender Equality in Israel: a comparative view” will present perspectives on the struggle for gender equality in Israel, forms of action, and recent developments. A unique focus will be that of gender equality amongst minorities, such as Arab-Israeli women. The discussion will be comparative and critical, placing the Israeli efforts in the context of the international pursuit of gender equality.
