Byers' Michele&Tastsoglou Evangelia, (2008) On the edges of the mosaic: Nevigating ethno cultural identity among second generation Greek and Jewish youth in Halifax', Metropolis. 

This research project focuses on Jewish and Greek origin youth in Halifax. Our interest has been in mapping out how second generation youth articulate their day to day experience.

We expected to find an increased pressure on young people from non-majority groups in Atlantic Canada to look like everyone else, to speak English only and to organize their leisure time around activities outside their ethno cultural religious community.
